Welcome to the City of San Buenaventura’s Volunteer Ventura! Program.
You are taking the first step in what we hope will be a rewarding volunteer experience.
As a volunteer for the City of Ventura, you will have the opportunity to contribute your unique talents and energy toward providing a richer quality of life for our community. And by joining our City volunteer team, you will share in an opportunity for self-development and self-fulfillment.
Please take a few minutes and read over our helpful FAQs below designed to answer your questions about our volunteer program. For upcoming volunteer projects and events, please visit our Calendar of Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities and learn more about how you can participate and give back to the community.
In addition to the many projects and events that beautify our natural environment and enrich our quality of life, we offer internships and other opportunities within different departments that can enhance your resume or assist you in learning new job skills. You can find a listing of these projects under our Volunteer Opportunities page.
As a member of a club, business, or religious group, we welcome the opportunity to partner with your organization in creating a meaningful service project! This is a wonderful way to make a positive impact in our community while creating a fun, team building experience for your members or employees.
On behalf of the City of San Buenaventura, I would like to thank you for your interest in becoming an important part in the operation of our City and I look forward to working together to create a Ventura we can all be proud of!
