"Happy Birthday Lady Liberty"... the theme for our 37th annual street fair

The popular 4th of July Street Fair extends along Main Street from Fir Street to Ventura Avenue as well as side streets Chestnut, Oak and California interspersed with six stages of entertainment and free shuttle bus service from the Ventura County Government Center to the Street Fair.

Held on our nation's birthday, this popular annual event attracts up to 50,000 people to Downtown Ventura. 

  • Free to the Public
  • Street Fair Hours:  10 am - 5 pm
  • More than 250 fine artist, crafters, nonprofit organizations, and food booths.
  • Six stages of continuous live entertainment. 
  • A children’s Pushem - Pullem Parade at 10a.m. sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ventura - East.  Parade begins at Cemetery Memorial Park (Main Street at Crimea Street.)
  • Free shuttle service from the Ventura County Government Center 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The last shuttle leaves the Street Fair at 5 p.m.

    VENDOR Information

Applications for the 2012 July 4th Street Fair are now available. Artists, crafters, non-profit organizations, commercial and food vendors who are interested in becoming a vendor at the 2012 Street Fair can download the appropriate guidelines and application. If you are unable to download the forms or have further questions contact us at 805.654-7749 or email mgodoy@cityofventura.net.

 

Applications will be accepted from Tuesday, January 31, 2012 until May 31, 2012.
Only FULLY COMPLETED APPLICATIONS will be reviewed and considered. Incomplete applications will be returned. Please review the appropriate guidelines and application below.

The 4th of July Street Fair is a show juried by experienced artists and crafters. Each applicant is reviewed. Only those applications that are completed will be juried, incomplete applications will be mailed back to the applicant. After the applications are juried, those that are accepted will be assigned their booth or booths. When the completed application was submitted, the type of vendor and the requested area determine assignments. Every effort is made to place the vendor in their preferred area.
