The Ventura Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a subject wanted in the connection with the stabbing death that occurred on July 12, 2010.
The subject is identified as Roberto Flores, 16 years of age, of Ventura. Please see the attached photograph.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the subject is urged to contact the Ventura Police Department. You may also contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS and if your information leads to an arrest a cash reward may be available of up to $1,000.
As a reminder harboring such a fugitive is a violation of state law and is a felony punishable by imprisonment in the state prison.

Narrative:
On July 12, 2010 at approximately 9:42 p.m., officers responded to a report of a fight with a stabbing victim at Bell Way and Olive St. in West Ventura. When officers arrived on scene they located the victim of the stabbing laying in the roadway. The victim was treated at the scene and was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
Prior to the stabbing incident the involved parties challenged each other to fight. During the fight one subject stabbed the victim multiple times. Investigators working through the night are following leads, but have not made any arrests at this time. The investigation is continuing.
