Narrative:
On the above date and time Valadez entered Jewelry Couture and inquired about some high dollar jewelry items. The sales associate removed two watches from the case and provided them for viewing. Valadez grabbed the items, valued at over $10,000, and fled out the door on foot.
Within minutes, a Ventura Patrol Officer found Valadez hiding behind a Conex box (storage container) in the west parking lot of the Pacific View Mall. Valadez was in possession of the stolen watches at the time of his arrest.
Valadez was booked at the Ventura County Jail for burglary and grand theft.
