Applicants sought for Ventura City Council Advisory Board, Commission and Committee volunteer positions

The City of Ventura is inviting applications from Ventura citizens wishing to serve as a volunteer on a City Council Advisory Board, Commission or Committee. Applications are being accepted through March 17, 2011. Some seats may require special qualifications such as professional experience. Additional information on special requirements may be obtained at the City Clerk's Office.

The following Council Advisory Groups have one or more vacancy and/or term expiration:

Cultural Affairs Commission
Design Review Committee
Downtown Parking Advisory Committee
Historic Preservation Committee
Housing Authority Board
Library Advisory Commission
Local (Construction) Appeals Board
Mobile Home Rent Review Board
Parks and Recreation
Planning Commission
Public Art Commission
Tree Advisory Committee
Ventura County Area on Aging
Ventura County Transportation Commission Citizens Advisory Committee (Alternate Member)
Ventura Port District
