Ventura’s ever-popular 4th of July Street Fair – a tradition now over three decades old – begins, as always, with the beloved Pushem-Pullem Parade of children and their families, in its 33rd edition, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 4, 2008.
In keeping with this year’s street fair theme – “Summer Spree for Liberty” – children and adults are invited to dress in “styling” attire celebrating picnics, BBQ’s and our nation’s birthday!
Participants will receive a free commemorative button while supplies last. Registration takes place at Cemetery Park at Main and Crimea Streets at 9:30 a.m.
Join the Ventura All-star Marching Band as the parade proceeds down Main Street to Fir Street at 10:30 a.m. Participation in the parade, sponsored by the Ventura East Rotary Club, is free and fun for people of all ages!
Advanced registration is not mandatory but Pushem-Pullem Parade registration forms can be downloaded at www.venturastreetfair.com.
