Performance Measures

"Measuring performance" is key to delivering the results that matter most to Ventura residents. The Ventura City Council initiated public reporting on key Performance Measures in 2005. In July 2011, the Council approved a new, more visual format for tracking results for all city departments. Here you will find how quickly we respond to emergency calls, how clean our public spaces are and other crucial indicators of Ventura's quality of life and standard of living.

Accountability and transparency are the cornerstones of cost-effective local government services. We invite your comments, questions and feedback on both the new format and specific outcomes.

The performance measures are displayed in color-coded graphs that visually demonstrate the results of each objective.  Click on the departments below for up-to-date information on strategic goals and current measures.
