Community Resource Centers
The Department utilizes and participates in two Community Resource Centers within the City of Ventura. These centers allow community members easier access to police personnel.
Pacific View Mall Resource Center
The Pacific View Mall Resource Center is located at 3301 E. Main Street, on the Mall's ground floor just south of Target.
Members of the public can pay parking tickets, get City employment information, and obtain information about community programs.
Although the Resource Center is located in the mall, officers are not assigned to work there exclusively. Their primary responsibility is to handle community/police issues within the entire region. The storefront allows community members to have more contact with police officers and with the department's crime prevention programs.

Westside Resource Center
The Westside Resource Center can be found at 110 N. Olive, # K. City Code Enforcement, Probation, and other agencies often use the Resource Center as a base of operations.
As with all Resource Centers, volunteers make up the staff here. The Resource Center is a base for bike and foot patrols of nearby areas. Storefront personnel handle calls-for-service and community issues throughout Ventura's West End.
