The City of Ventura Invites You to Participate! We would like your suggestions to help shape the Westside and North Avenue community. Please review the draft Community Plan and Development Code and let us know your ideas.

The City Council will be holding a Special Meeting Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in City Council Chambers, 501 Poli Street, Ventura, to review and receive comment of the Westside Revitalization Project.  Below are links to the Community Plan and Code.  All Administrative Reports and Attachments area available at www.cityofventura.net/westside

Ventura Westside Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR)

The City of San Buenaventura as lead agency, announces the availability of the DEIR that assesses the environmental impact associated with the proposed Westside Community Planning Project.

Review Period :  December 15, 2011 through January 27, 2012 by 5:00 PM

Document Availability:  The DEIR is available for review at the San Buenaventura City Hall, 501 Poli Street, Room 117, Ventura and the following libraries:  E. P. Foster Library, 651 E. Main Street &  Avenue Library, 606 N. Ventura Avenue

Public Hearings:  A Public Workshop to discuss the release and overview of the DEIR will be scheduled for Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 6:00 pm in the City Hall Community Meeting room.  Public Hearings before the City boards and commission are anticipated to begin during the first quarter of 2012, followed by Planning Commission & City Council during second quarter of 2012.
