Local Coastal Program (LCP) component of this project
The proposed Local Coastal Program amendment applies only to the approximately twenty-eight (28) parcels along the southwestern segment of Thompson Boulevard between San Jon Road and Santa Cruz Road, as depicted in the Midtown Corridors Development Code regulating plan. The amendment includes changing the zoning designation and associated development standards from existing C-2 and R-3 to the proposed T4.5 and T4.5 Shopfront. The Development Code's provisions, and the City Council's approval thereof, would not take effect in the Coastal Zone area unless and until approved and certified by the California Coastal Commission.
