The City of Ventura calls upon its residents to participate meaningfully in decisions that affect them. How would you make Ventura a better place to live? Community Needs / Revenue Survey, May 2015 In May 2015 the City of Ventura conducted a citizen survey to measure residents’ opinions about community needs and revenue options to support essential city services.  Research firm Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin, Metz & Associates (FM3) developed the survey in consultation with city staff
Each month the City of Ventura invites a student from a local fifth grade class to be Mayor for a Moment.  Students are invited to submit a written piece, visual art, or music about a particular theme.  A student whose piece is chosen is invited to read or present their work at the City Council meeting.
There are many ways to get involved to enhance the quality of life in our community.   Participate in your Community Council --  attend public meetings to connect with neighbors, volunteer, raise issues, and make a difference in your neighborhood!
