Operations

The Fire Operations Division of the Ventura City Fire Department is directed by the Assistant Fire Chief.

The Operations Division is comprised of six fire stations and strives to maintain an average response time of five minutes to emergencies within the City. 

At full strength, each of the three shifts is comprised of one Battalion Chief, seven Captains, as well, as engineers and firefighters. The Battalion Chiefs direct the day-to-day activities of the division.
