Fire Administration is made up of the Fire Chief and his support staff. Their offices are located in the Police/Fire Headquarters, located at 1425 Dowell Drive, Ventura, CA 93003. Their primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of the delivery of services and ensure the smooth function of the Fire Department.
The Administration of the Fire Department strives to listen and understand community fire issues, maintain positive and constructive lines of communication, and establish a prudent and responsible direction for the Department.
In listening to, understanding, and discussing the desires of our community, Fire Administration provides regular representation to City Council, Planning Commission, Design Review Committee, Chamber of Commerce, Neighborhood, Planning Association, Contractor Association, etc. meetings.
