Learn the fundamentals of Ocean Friendly Gardening and your landscape's relationship to our watershed.  Ocean Friendly Gardens is a progam of Surfrider Foundation.  The City of Ventura and Ventura Chapter of Surfrider are co-hosting the event with support from Surfrider's National Ocean Friendly Garden Program through a grant from the California Coastal Whale Tail License Plate fund.  The first class in the series, Watershed Basics will be held in the Community Room of City Hall at 501 Poli St., Ventura, CA 9.001.  It starts at 9 am.  It is free to all Ventura County residents.  Please RSVP online at ww2.surfrider.org/ventura/VenturaOFG or call 805-652-4501.  Refreshments will be served. Bring your own mug to make it a low waste event.
