Marion Canon Park Cleanup
Join the Volunteer Ventura! Program on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 3:00-5:00pm as we clean and beautify Marion Canon Park. Volunteer duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Weeding/mulcing
- Litter pick up
- Painting park amenities and curbs
This opportunity is open to volunteers of all ages. Volunteers under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All participants must sign a waiver. Waivers will also be available at the project site. As a reminder, volunteers should wear long pants and closed toe shoes.
This is a great opportunity for students to earn community service hours for school.
