City Departments
A full-service city, the City of Ventura operates its own Police and Fire departments, an active Community Services Department, a fine Public Works Department and a progressive Community Development Department. The City also has a Human Resources Department, Administrative Services Department as well as the City Manager's Department and City Attorney's Office. Most of the city departments are broken down into divisions to better serve our community. All of these departments work closely together to make Ventura a wonderful place to live, work and do business.
