Soccer League Fees & Offerings

The City of Ventura offers men's and co-ed soccer leagues for $275 per adult team plus $15 per game for officials. 

Soccer League Schedules

Teams will be called with the date and time of their first game. Teams may play more than one game each night.

Soccer League Format

Games will be played with 6 players including the goalkeeper. Games will consist of two 20-minute periods, with a 5-minute halftime. The field of play is 60 yards long and 40 yards wide, with a 40 foot non-scoring goalie area. At the end of the season, all teams will participate in playoffs.

League Rules

Teams are allowed free substitutions on "dead balls." Throw-ins are replaced by Direct Free Kicks. Slide tackling deemed dangerous may result in a Red Card. Verbal and physical abuse may also result in a Red Card. Any Red Card will result in removal from the game and a minimum of a 1 game suspension. Two Yellow Cards will equal 1 Red Card.

All games will be governed by F.I.F.A. Rules.

Awards

1st place awards will be given in each division.

Rainouts 

In the event of rain, teams should call 658-8175 after 3 pm of game day. A message will be given relating to playing conditions of the fields and if games are cancelled.
