Saticoy & Wells Community Plan & Development Code

Introduction

As one of the initial steps in implementing the “infill first” strategy of the 2005 Ventura General Plan, the City embarked upon a comprehensive planning process to ensure mixed uses, connectivity and fully walkable neighborhoods that integrate mobility, green spaces, and civic amenities.

This process resulted in the Draft Saticoy & Wells Community Plan, Development Code and Draft Environmental Impact Report documents now available for public review. The Draft Community Plan and Development Code documents are available for public review during the period of May 15 – June 29, 2009.

The public comment period for the Draft Environmental Impact Report has been extended from May 15 through July 20, 2009.

On November 16, 2009, the City Council will consider adoption of the 2009 Final Draft of the Saticoy & Wells Community Plan, Development Code and Final Environmental Impact Report.
