Community Access Partners of San Buenaventura (CAPS), a local non-profit organization, has been established in the City of Ventura to build a new community media center to broadcast public, educational and government (PEG) television programming. In addition to providing a complete production facility, and training to all citizens, community and service groups, schools and the local government on video production techniques, CAPS provides equipment that may be checked out by residents who want to produce their own television programs.
Current programming on channel 15 includes: coverage of City Council, Planning Commission and School District meetings, as well as playback of programming on a wide variety of topics. Community groups and non-profit organizations may use the CAPS electronic bulletin board to announce upcoming events. Please call 805-658-0500 for questions regarding bulletin board requests.
